![]() | I would like to thank you for your help for all the work you did in processing this holiday and dealing with the dialysis arrangementsI left home on my own with a little trepidation as this was first holiday on my own since my kidney failed. i needn't have worried for as soon as i met Brian and my fellow passengers I knew everything would be ok The Mozart was a wonderful ship with all the facilities you would need, food was great and plentiful and staff were very helpful and efficient We then set off down the Danube to visit some amazing places. Including Budapest , Vienna and Bratislava Any worries i had over the dialysis treatment were expelled by the excellant team of doctors and nurses who were well trained in giving dialysis treatment and helping us in any other medical way I would also like to give my appreciation for all the work Brian did in trying to ensure everybody had a great time Thanks for everything ![]() Posted By: Martin Smith Mozart 20th October 2011, Tring |
![]() | Our cruise was booked very last minute and we only had a few weeks to complete all the necessary paperwork for dialysis, however with Lisa's help we had everything done in time. We particularly wanted a Southampton departure and the boarding proceedures at the port ran like clockwork. The medical facilities and staff on board the Celebrity Eclipse were excellent they arranged dialysis for Peter on sea days so that we would not miss out on shore excursions, we were very inpressed by the whole setup - so much so that this has given us the confidence to book another cruise for next year. We can thouroughly reccommend 'cruising with haemodialysis on board' and thank Lisa for helping us to make this possible.![]() Posted By: Lyn & Peter Collins Celebrity Eclipse - 12th September 2011, Western Mediteranean & Adriatic Coast |
![]() | Thank you for another wonderful cruise. David & I enjoy the smaller ships and knowing that dialysis is reliable and competent means we can relax and enjoy shipboard life, the interesting ports of call (Bergen, Stavanger, Gothenburg, Oslo and Copenhagen) and friendly fellow travellers and ship staff. As always Lisa had our trip very well organized from the planning stage (for us) from Canada, to meeting the clients in Hamburg, van transport to the port in Kiel and enabling a prompt and easy boarding once we reached the MS Astor. It was time to relax, enjoy lovely scenery, tasty meals and look forward to new adventures in each interesting port. All went well but it is always reassuring that any problems, (medical or travel) will be looked after immediately by Accessible Cruising personnel. We are looking forward to planning another cruise in 2012.David & Anne The Canadians ![]() Posted By: David & Anne Swales MS Astor August 9-16, 2011, Scandinavia |
![]() | We found the cruise to be a wonderful experience, we went to the Iron Gate as it was the 11 day cruise. We had excellent help from Lisa of Accessible Cruising, she arranged everything for us. Regards the dialysis on board, my husband found it to be very good. He would have appreciated a chair lift as the stairs to the dialysis were quite steep. The German Doctor and his wife couldn't have been friendlier and sat at our table with us on many occasions. We would love to go again one day. ![]() Posted By: Elizabeth Willey Mozart, 24th April 2011, Budapest |
![]() | We booked a cruise through Dialysis Holidays to the Canaries for last autumn and so much did we enjoy it that on our return we promptly started looking for another for this year. We have reserved places on the one to the Baltic Cities leaving in August. In the meantime, notwithstanding it was not in Accessible's brochure, we asked Lisa Parnell if she would arrange a land holiday for us to Prague, from which we have recently returned. Once again we had a marvellous time, the hotel, travel and dialysis all excellently arranged. None of this would have occurred were it not for the superb attention to detail and the personal service of Lisa and her team. What is more, the speed with which queries/correspondence/phone messages were replied to was so encouraging in a world of automated answerphones, call centres and staff who show little interest and have even less knowledge of the product/service they are purporting to sell. Ann and I cannot thank you enough Lisa for all your efforts on our behalf; we are already looking for next year's holiday. ![]() Posted By: Peter Hornby |
![]() | Now we are at home again, after a wonderful cruise “Midnight Sun”. Everything was perfect. The ship was very, very good, the crew very polite and kind, the weather okay (4 days with blue heaven and only one night was a little bit windy). So nothing to complain about.![]() Posted By: Mr & Mrs Lolk Costa July 2010, Denmark |

![]() | Well, here we are back in Canada after our wonderful holiday on the Danube. We were so fortunate to have wonderful weather every day---even when it was chilly we had sun. David and I were both very enthused about the Mozart and the ease of getting around and off and on the ship in comparison to the huge cruise ships. Even the initial embarkation and debarking at cruise end was totally hassle free!! Our vacation had a great start with a day to explore Munich before boarding. All our shore excursions while on the cruise were wonderful, both the formal bus trips and our time wandering and exploring on our own. Brian was not only a great host to our group from the U.K. (and Canada) but I know made our group feel very comfortable and confident the way he took charge and looked after the patient who required a trip to hospital. We are thinking of Brian and the group that are on the Mozart this week and hope that the weather has held for them. We went to the Cafe Leyseiffer for lunch when we reached the airport and there was a group of people sitting with luggage and we decided that they were the lucky folks just heading off on their Danube adventure. Thank you so much for putting our trip together for us. You made it very easy to organize all the way from Canada. Our plan is to head to Lincolnshire as usual in the spring and if all goes well we would love to do another cruise. ![]() Posted By: Mr & Mrs Swales Mozart, October 2010 Accompanied cruise, Canada |
![]() | Just a little note to say thank you for all your help in organising and co-ordinating my holiday and dialysis. Our time on board the Mozart was a wonderful and leisurely time. The scenery was second to none and the day trips were really well organised with extremely friendly and patient tour guides. We would like to thank Brian (from your company) for his expert information and for arranging a visit for us to see the wheelhouse and learn how the ship operates. It was lovely to meet him and hopefully we will get to meet LIsa one day.![]() Posted By: Mr & Mrs Annan UK |
